BOOK CLUB
The CAS Book Club meets monthly to discuss books, discover new authors and enjoy stimulating conversation.
There are no meetings planned for June or July.

Do you enjoy watching an art house film, a good tear jerker and / or a romantic comedy, but are tired of dragging an unwilling partner or friend along? Would you enjoy the opportunity to have meaningful discussions after viewing a film? Why not join us the fourth Tuesday evening of the month. Movies are selected based on availability and subject matter. Even if the film disappoints, our Chick Flick discussion over drinks never does!

Coffee, tea, or whatever your preferred choice of morning brew is - come out for some fun conversation every first and third Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am onwards. Join the small but lively group and get valuable information on just about anything.
You are invited to join us on the second Tuesday of the month for a leisurely stroll out and about as we explore different Singapore neighbourhoods. We will check out local history, new shopping options, and discover little known eateries.
Out and About in Singapore Tours will resume in September.

The Canadian Association of Singapore Youth Ice Hockey League, Singapore Ice Dragons, is open to skaters age 5 to 17; from September to March. We are dormant for the summer months and resume around August 10th with registration activity for the youth hockey program. Rink times for practices and games with location will be advertised on the CAS website in August.
Pub Night: Come out and meet Canadians and friends of Canada in Singapore every first Friday night of the month, 7:00pm onwards at Bobby’s @ Cuppage Terrace. Receive a discount on food and beverage. Just ask for the Canadian Association table or look for the Canadian flag!

REGISTRATION POLICY The Canadian Association of Singapore (CAS) would like to inform all its members that due to planning requirements, full payment must accompany all registrations. Only for those events that specify, will payment be accepted at the door. Please note that registrations submitted after the deadline date will be referred to the event organizer. CAS members in good standing are eligible for CAS events at the member’s fee and should be listed as members upon registration. Visitors to Singapore, who are houseguests of CAS members, are eligible for CAS events at the member’s cost and should be listed as House Guest(s) upon registration. Non-members are people who reside in Singapore, but are not members of CAS. Note that members’ registrations are given priority.

CANCELLATION POLICY The Canadian Association of Singapore would like to inform its members that 72 hours notice is required before an event if you wish to receive a full refund. With regards to the Maple Leaf Ball, eight days notice prior to the event is required to receive a full refund. If you cancel less than the days mentioned above, there will be no refund. This policy is necessary due to the cancellation clauses required by venues where the events take place
